We continued to celebrate New Year's Eve after Cody, Simeon, and Meika went to bed.

Here are a fraction of the photos I took that night!

Assorted pictures from the beginning of 2013

We had our annual New Year's Eve party, but this year we got to have DJ, Meredith, Tyler, and Katelyn join us!  I'll be adding to this post over the next while...trying to catch up a bit!  We traditionally do our Christmas stockings on New Year's Eve after our evening meal! It was fun to do with it with 2 of my grandkids!

Bonnie & Katelyn enjoyed each other's company, and Meika really enjoyed coloring while we visited!

We celebrated our Christmas with the Carson City family on New Year's Eve (2012)  Here Tyler and Katelyn get ready to open some gifts!!

Beginning of a new year: January, 2013

2 Corinthians 3:5

"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.

This is the reason I chose my blog name....I find sufficient strength in my Lord and Savior.  He is the One Who leads and guides me---I may not always follow His direction, but He never, ever leaves me.  SO very thankful for Him, and for His mercy and grace which are more than sufficient for me.

After trying for 3 years to post a photo a day for the entire year, this year I have decided to try to post monthly updates! The first several posts will be "catch up" photos!  I will caption occasionally.

Most of my posts will have to do with my family (of course!)  As they  begin entering adulthood, my children are moving on to their adult lives.  In May, 2012 Rosie moved out into supported independent living, and Kaitie moved into an AFC (group) home with two of my older daughters, Kara, my 5th adopted child and Shonda, my 6th adopted child, in August, 2012.  Transitions have gone well for the girls, and for that I am thankful to God.  They still come home frequently for visits of course!

Simeon moved into a residential home for 6 months minimum on January 15.  The home is close to us, Simeon goes to the same school as Cody & Meika, and continues to attend our church.
He is doing very well at the present time with only minor issues.

Cody has been accepted at the same group home that my sons, Rick, my first adopted child and Nathan, my 4th adopted child already live!

The following pictures were taken in the fall of 2012, and are of the family that lived at home in 2012!  Posting from youngest to oldest!

 Samuel, my 21st child
 Merica, my 22nd child
 Spencer, my 20th child
Mahree, my 19th child & Katniss
 Meika, my 18th child
 Simeon, my 17th child
 Cody, my 15th child
 Kaitlyn, my 14th child
 Bonnie, my 16th child
 Rosabeth, my 9th child
